Red Tent Women's Project

Where women transform the world

I found Red Tent Women's Project while looking up a detail of this book that I read recently. It is religious fiction (I am no longer a religious person, but I love to read about God, the Bible, and the characters in it), and it tells a beautiful, alternative story about a woman who is barely mentioned, Dinah. It also gives a great deal of insight into what the world would have been like for the women of the people who later became the Jews. I think it's an important book that we should all read, especially Jews and Christians, or anyone who wants to know more about our cultural and religious heritage.
