Profile Information

What issues are most important to you?
Teaching women to educate and empower their families, and to speak up for what they believe. It is not enough to just raise up alone. Each and every woman are enlisted by mothers to reach out to another and assist in the efforts of global wisdom and peace and self reliance.
What kind of social activism do you engage in?
Peace activism through art and law.
What organizations do you love or work with?
Girl Scouts of America; Peace and Justice Center;
What books, music, films, etc. do you think educate and empower women?
The book you write and read to others, the music you write, teach and play with to others, the films you take and make, etc. Empowerment comes from claiming your identify and supporting your cause before others.
Career: what do you do or want to do?
Patent Paralegal; artist;
What skills and interests to do you have to offer to others in the Red Tent Women's Project communty? This is your chance, so sell yourself!
I like to share art with others. I also thrive in training others on office skills, legal administrative, non-profit goal setting and achieving; fund raising for peace and child health and development causes.
What would you like other members of this community to know? About yourself, about the world...anything (try not to be profane, though)!
Life is yours to build into a place where you can dream, control your dream and go from walking to swimming to surfing and riding the waves to walk again with a grain of sand scratching your toes encouraging you to try run to create your reality.
What was your "women really matter and I'm going to do something about it" moment?
I have many sisters, a mother and two grandmothers where are strong and soulful woman. They were of the "if you don't have anything nice to say; don't say anything" upbringing and taught me to say it real but keep it nice. I found that works wonderfully in conflicts and I still use this as I speak my truths. I am a professional woman and I don't ever forget to present that - the boundaries and goals are clearly stated with a smile and I work really hard not to let anyone make me less of what I want to be.
