What skills and interests to do you have to offer to others in the Red Tent Women's Project communty? This is your chance, so sell yourself!
I run a program for women in work. It is designed to help them improve their opportunities in the workplace by assisting them to build their selfworth and confidence so they can achieve the things in life that mean something to them.
What would you like other members of this community to know? About yourself, about the world...anything (try not to be profane, though)!
After moving to Australia 14 years ago I was widowed and left with 3 young children. I had to choose how to deal with the situation and the kind of life I wanted for myself and my boys. I believe you are where you are because of the choices you make and your life is 100% your responsibility. Women should not be victims but the heroes in their own lives.
What was your "women really matter and I'm going to do something about it" moment?
It wasn't a moment but after working and talking with women for a number of years about what they want out of life I designed a program to help them do just that.
