What issues are most important to you?: Women's Sensual Empowerment

What kind of social activism do you engage in?: Anything that's fun and interesting

What organizations do you love or work with?: Various--too many to name all

What books, music, films, etc. do you think educate and empower women?: Every women is different. We all get inspired by different words and sounds. However, I had alot of women contact me to say they were inspired when reading my book, The W.I.S.E. Journal for the Sensual Woman (in Spanish -- Para La Mujer Sensual). The book has made the feel comfortable to embrace their sensual and sexual divinity. The book is available through my website www.instituteofpleasure.org or through www.amazon.com

Career: what do you do or want to do?: I am a Clinical Sexologist, Professor, Radio/TV Talk show host, and award winning author.

What skills and interests to do you have to offer to others in the Red Tent Women's Project communty? This is your chance, so sell yourself!: I conduct various workshops for women on sexual health and awareness. I provide private consultations, therapy and spiritual healing to women, men and couples but face-to-face and via phone consultations. I am a Keynote Speaker and highly sought after lecturer for various organizations, government agencies, and medical providers.

What would you like other members of this community to know? About yourself, about the world...anything (try not to be profane, though)!: I am Women's Sensual Empowerment Specialist, Clinical Sexologist, Award winning author, and the ONLY Latina Doctor of Human Sexuality in the USA, Television and Radio Talk Show host & a Latina.

What was your "women really matter and I'm going to do something about it" moment?: When everyone, professors, collegeaues and friends, tried to censor me when I tried to learn about or discuss sex. I felt it was wrong to be judgemental of other's sexuality. I also find it horrible that marketing and sales target women's insecurities and sales us their products but then we're told we can't talk about our bodies, sex or our desires. What's wrong with loving ourselves and our sensuality?
