What skills and interests to do you have to offer to others in the Red Tent Women's Project communty? This is your chance, so sell yourself!
I have recently begun my own private healing practice, Juniper Heart Connections. Along with a wonderful colleague, Veenaa Saynana, we are offering a 3-day women's retreat, The Red Tent Journey, in Eugene, Oregon, November 13-15 to raise energy for the health and prosperity for our sister's worldwide.
What would you like other members of this community to know? About yourself, about the world...anything (try not to be profane, though)!
I would like them to know that when we open our hearts to feelings of compassion, not only for the women in this world but for the men who have grown up believing that their power comes from domination and control, we are opening a channel for change. If you think you can only hate what you see happening in the world I give you this challenge. Think of the person for who you have the most judgement, be that someone you know personally, or some public figure. Go to you kitchen and place the following items on the counter in front of you. A large apple/or pear, a lemon, a nut of some kind such as an almond, and a grain of rice, or even millet. Picture the person in your mind and decide how much compassion you can find for this person in your heart. Will that fit into an apple? or only a tiny grain of millet? Do not judge your self, but take the thing and carry it in your pocket for at least 24 hours, When you are done, know that you have opened up a way the forces of light to come through you and in some way, affect change between you and that person. Do this and let me know what has happened to the "relationship" you have with that person. Blessed be-
What was your "women really matter and I'm going to do something about it" moment?
Many years ago when I was a child, I recognized that women have such a hard time, birthing and raising their babies in a world where they must struggle to get what they need sometimes from the very people they love and depend upon.
