What books, music, films, etc. do you think educate and empower women?

Pretty Woman is an excellent film as it shows the power of a woman and how women adapt and learn to survive in hard circumstances.
Also I love the No.1 Ladies Detective Agency books, I think they are excellent as the woman involved is so clever and people depend on her intelligence and detective skills

Career: what do you do or want to do?

I work in a bank, Ive been given this amazing oppurtunity to make a really good career for myself and I intend to grasp it :)

What skills and interests to do you have to offer to others in the Red Tent Women's Project communty? This is your chance, so sell yourself!

I am a caring person and people have often come to me for advice, I have a knack for cheering people up too!
I love makeup and would love to give makeovers to women to boost their confidence and show them that their outer selves are just are amazing as their inner selves - even if they dont believe it, they will when I'm finished!

What would you like other members of this community to know? About yourself, about the world...anything (try not to be profane, though)!

I love to lose it on the dance floor, in my own world grooving out :D

What was your "women really matter and I'm going to do something about it" moment?

I was on the bus once, and an old woman got on the bus with lots of bags,there were no seats available and i was sitting near the back, I couldn't believe it when NOBODY moved, they just sat there watching this poor woman shakily holding onto the rail hoping to stay upright. I stood up and gave her my seat. It was at this moment that I realised how in this day and age, morals are slowly disappearing, and people are now seeing the elderly as a burden rather than wise and interesting people. I feel this project can help to bring together all generations of people may it be women or men
