My menopausal brain is not coming up with any specific ones just now, but I know there are lots. However, I did not really like 'The Help', which many might think to be empowering. Oh I know, Orgasmic Birth DVD. Very good. Birth Reborn book by Sheila kitzinger, The Wise Wound by Penelope Shuttle and Peter Redgrove

I am a doula

I am a doula. I am an artist and writer too.

What would you like other members of this community to know? About yourself, about the world...anything (try not to be profane, though)!

I really enjoy working with other women in a supportive way. I know a lot of women see other women competitively, but I am really interested in working with other women in a mutually supportive way.

What was your "women really matter and I'm going to do something about it" moment?

There have been many, too many to mention
