women's healing,
in particular healing from trauma

I lead women's circles, and healings, and promote women's causes and events

I'm an integrative healer helping people to integrate their body and mind, release stress and trauma, and reclaim joy

I'm a graduate of the Women's Wisdom Program in 1998. I have continued to study and deepen my knowledge of women's wisdom. I lead women's events and circles, and specialize in supporting women's recovery from trauma.

I'm currently working on a Heal The Womb Project

We will be having our first Ceremony Nov. 2nd after Mia Perovetz The Things I wish my Mother Had Told Me, show. She has donated her theater. For more go to www.bewildwoman.com and www.thethingsiwish.com below are details of the Healing the Womb vision and my bio.

Healing the Womb is our new seedling. Our vision is to create a supportive healing space for the woundings of the womb. We will be offering workshops that dive into healing and reconsecrating the womb. This is the foundation of healing women's sexuality.
Here is the outline of the mission and goals for healing the womb

Mission to bring healing and empowerment to our community through the healing and education of women and girls
1. We would like to see this grow into a supportive community

2. A free healing ceremony and celebration for the women of the greater New York City Area in may of 2009

...and the ultimate goal is

3. A Free Healing the Womb program to support and teach women how to heal their bodies and womb for women and girls this would involve the following:
a. fund raising, grants,
b. the donation of a space,
c. involving and promoting social services and organizations that support womens healing
d event production
e. program development
f. public relations media and press
g getting the word out
h. volunteers for all of the above

I invite you to join me in this vision to cocreate a healing community for women.

Kiana Love, Founder and Director of Kakini Health, uses somatic therapies, energy
work and reflexology to help balance the body, mind, and spirit. She holds a B.S. in
Behavioral Science and has certifications in body mind healing. Kiana supports
healing through the integration of eastern charkas system with western psychology.
Yoga, stretching, meditation, and breath work are some of the tools she employs to
integrate these system . Kiana is a certified Chakra Healer, Reiki master, Advanced
Vortex Practitioner, and Master Integrative Energy Instructor. She also provides support
as an interfaith minister. Kiana provides a compassionate presence that allows the
body to express, and integrate its truth, which brings healing and peace of mind. for

What would you like other members of this community to know? About yourself, about the world...anything (try not to be profane, though)!
That healing and working together. women's healing and empowerment is a profound gift not only to ourselves but to the world around us, our lovers, children, family, friends, coworkers, community, and planet. Women's healing is powerful medicine for the planet
What was your "women really matter and I'm going to do something about it" moment?
There were many moments, one that stands out is after taking the women's wisdom training and wanting to share the wholeness and reconnection I felt with women.
