Profile Information

What issues are most important to you?
It is my mission in life to raise awareness for girls and women facing a bereavement - to help them find an expressive voice through hardship. I am proactive about finding a prevention for Breast Cancer.
What kind of social activism do you engage in?
Currently I'm working with The Den for Grieving Kids and The Center for hope to bring about big change and educate a large communtiy
What organizations do you love or work with?
Family Centers - The Den For grieving Kids & Center for Hope, The Get in Touch Foundation
What would you like other members of this community to know? About yourself, about the world...anything (try not to be profane, though)!
I am an actor and a writer - who likes to meet new people engaged with an issue they are passionate about and would like to create art from it...I believe in Healing through art
What was your "women really matter and I'm going to do something about it" moment?
My one woman show I have opening this October in NYC called: The Things I Wish My Mother Would Have Told Me...is my journey through my mothers breast cancer battle - and a coming of age. I realized then how little support was offered for young adults going through the bereavement of a mother or father - The fear for us women that we to may follow a similar path due to pre distine genetic cancers. I wanted to assure that girls where supported and educated - so that they to can become proactive about there minds and bodies - My show does exactly that. I have been transferred from London to New York. My website is: www.thethingsiwish.com
Please visit and come along...
