Profile Information

What issues are most important to you?
Helping and supporting people with their life and personal development through giving personal performance coaching.
What kind of social activism do you engage in?
I have done and want to do more voluntary work in African countries.
What organizations do you love or work with?
Satellite Life Coaching
What books, music, films, etc. do you think educate and empower women?
There are so many, but books by Iyanla Vanzant and songs from the album 'Push On' by Freddie McGregor, got me through some very tough times.
Career: what do you do or want to do?
I am proud to say that I am Personal Performance Coach and qualified with a distinction in my diploma!
What skills and interests to do you have to offer to others in the Red Tent Women's Project communty? This is your chance, so sell yourself!
I love helping people in the work that I do. Throughout my life, I have done this as a teacher, mentor, trainer, mother, wife and friend. I have changed my life to be able to support people in a 'formal' way and to make this more accessible to all. One thing that we all need is to be listened to, to be heard, and to voice how we really feel. We also need to be asked questions that we would never ask ourselves. I am here to be of service to listen and hear you, reflect your thoughts back to you and to ask you what you need to be asked.
What would you like other members of this community to know? About yourself, about the world...anything (try not to be profane, though)!
I believe in re-invention and am now experiencing another life! One of my greatest life experiences was living a dream that began as a seed way back in the early 1990's. I envisaged owning a book shop and made this a reality (thanks children for your help and support with this) in 2003. Conscious Equation was a beacon in the community. Another life transforming experience was living a dream of visiting Tanzania. I had always wanted to do this since I was around 14 years of age. Whilst I was there, I was in heaven.
What was your "women really matter and I'm going to do something about it" moment?
It just so happens that the majority of my Coachees are women. It feels great to be able to support us through coaching that provides quality time and space to think about who we really are, who we really are meant to be and what we really want to do. In coaching sessions, hearing and sensing Clients' realisations and awareness of the wonderful values and assets that they possess, never fails to send a tingle down my spine.
