What issues are most important to you?
Health Care, equal rights, pro-choice, safety for all humans
What kind of social activism do you engage in?
I volunteer with a few 501c3 and have been trying to organize a "red tent" at kerrville folk festival as a safe haven for all the women to come be women with no outside pressure.
What organizations do you love or work with?
amnesty int, planned parenthood, RESCU foundation.......
What books, music, films, etc. do you think educate and empower women?
Off the top of my head, L.C. by Susan Diatch comes to mind....
Career: what do you do or want to do?
Personal Asst, Writer, hope to get into some journalism, Patient advocacy, human being
What skills and interests to do you have to offer to others in the Red Tent Women's Project communty? This is your chance, so sell yourself!
I am a great organizer of things and have a lot of managerial skills. I can lead people, coordinate large events, make things happen. I also am a decent problem solver and a great friend.
What would you like other members of this community to know? About yourself, about the world...anything (try not to be profane, though)!
We are all part of One Human Family, and we need to respect ourselves and each other like we actually believe that.
What was your "women really matter and I'm going to do something about it" moment?
