What was your "women really matter and I'm going to do something about it" moment?

i found myself looking in the mirror on my 30th birthday and realized that i've been on this earth for 30 years and i've allowed other people to dictate my happiness. i realized that moment that i am important and other women like me do have a chance to improve their lives for the better
