It’s time for all of us to work smarter, harder, and more courageously!
For those of you on the Red Tent Women’s Project newsletter list, you’ve already received information about one of the Red Tent’s new projects:
Encouraging and supporting all of us in being our best selves by creating a group where we cheer each other on and give concrete assistance to one another.
We’re calling this the “Smarter, Harder, Courageously!” group (SHC, for short, because what is life without acronyms?).
And we want YOU to be part of it.
See, we tend to spend so much time on the petty details of life that sometimes we forget to truly LIVE our lives. And women spend sooooo much time on the details of life, and caring for the details of other people’s lives, that often, our drive and passions and power get lost in the day-to-day slog.
Yes, sometimes we need to spend time on those petty timewasters and details of life. But sometimes those wasted and underutilized minutes can turn into decades. No, no, no. You have too much to offer to the world for that to be okay.
So will you join us in working smarter, harder and more courageously?
There is now a Red Tent Women’s Project Smarter Harder Courageously (SHC) group on the Red Tent website where we’ll share our triumphs and challenges, our hopes and desires, our fears and stumbling blocks. And we’ll support each other, because we want each other to grow and live life according to our highest potential.
That is, after all, what the Red Tent Women’s Project is all about.
Want to be part of it? We are looking for women who are go-getters and want to commit to making big shifts in their lives. Women who want to inspire and be inspired. Women who want to let their light shine and don’t feel that someone else’s bright light dims their own, and vice versa. It doesn’t matter where you are—we can inspire each other all over the world and change our world!
To join, make sure you’re a member of www.redtentwomensproject.org. (Click join if you’re not.) Once you’re a member, join the group and email info_AT_redtentwomensproject.org why you want to be a part of it so your group membership can be approved.
Marianne Williamson says, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you…And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
So please, for your own sake and the sake of others around you let your light shine.
