Red Tents: Reclaim, Renew, Rejoice!

Menstrual Monday has been celebrated around the world for the past few years, on the Monday before Mother's Day (since you menstruate BEFORE you become a mother, and long after...)

I am deeply passionate about spreading this work among women and girls worldwide.

Your clip on YouTube actually moved me to tears. I'm in the process of collecting red cloth for my own red tent here in Birmingham, England, and turning my living-room red too, with cushions, candles, pictures etc. I honour you and all you are doing to encourage women to be positive about our female traditions. It's true that the red tent resonates with all women and I believe it will be powerful to break down artificial barriers that divide women from one another in modern society. This is a powerful movement and I believe we will live to see it become a worldwide one. Thanks to Eryka, and the Red Tent Women's Project, I know I'm not alone but can be at one with you across the miles...
