Here are a couple of relevant events coming up in February, 2010.

Women of Wisdom Conference
February 11 through 15, 2010, Seattle, Washington
"Women of Wisdom Foundation is a
National Women's Organization based in Seattle, providing diverse and innovative programs that offer women opportunities for personal growth and transformation. WOW promotes women's spirituality, creativity and wholeness, and empowers women's voices and their contributions to the world, honoring the Divine Feminine in all. Womens events include a range of mind body and spirit topics for a full healing experience."

Lifeways "Ukalai" Women's Retreat
February 24 through 28, 2010, Carrollton, Georgia
This event is put on by the Sacred Fire Community, which also exists in the UK. Lifeways also holds Men's Retreats and Initiation Rituals for girls and boys entering adulthood. Contact information is on their website. You can also check for a Sacred Fire Circle in your area for information about monthly community fires.

TMHP/Red Tent Temple Gathering
January 16, 2010, Minneapolis, Minnesota
This will be the first TMHP gathering according to the Red Tent Temple Movement model, founded by ALisa Starkweather. Women are gathering on or near the new moon each month in many parts of the world to simply be. The stillness and togetherness fostered by this simple act allows women to reconnect with their own feminine wisdom. Group leaders check in by conference call periodically, and anyone interested in forming a new group can come online early for information. Check ALisa's website for more information.
